ISTA is coming up on their 100-year anniversary in 2024 and as a part of celebrating, are looking to “curate a captivating historical photo collection that chronicles the rich heritage and evolution of ISTA and the seed testing sector,” according to release.
ISTA is asking for any photographs relate to its sector between the years 1924 and 2000. The photographs can include a range of images including “ISTA milestones, key individuals, memorable events or snapshots of everyday seed testing laboratory work.”
To participate in the project, collect your photos and digitize them by scanning or photographing them with high resolution. Then, share your photos to this email by November 30, 2023, providing any context you are able to and a date if possible to help appreciate the significance every image holds.
According to the release, “By participating in this historical photo collection, you grant us permission to curate, showcase, and potentially display these images as part of our 100-year anniversary celebrations. Appropriate recognition will be given to all contributors.”
