Euroseeds welcomes the European Commission’s Vision for Agriculture and Food as a significant step toward a more competitive, resilient, and sustainable agri-food sector. The roadmap aims to create a fair and future-oriented food production system, supporting both current and future generations of farmers and agri-food operators.
The Commission’s emphasis on policy simplification, innovation, and digitalization aligns with Euroseeds’ commitment to a science-driven approach to agricultural sustainability and competitiveness, according to a press release. Key initiatives, including the 2025 simplification package and the EU digital strategy for agriculture, will help farmers and the agri-food sector harness technological advancements for greater efficiency and sustainability.

- Supporting a future-proof sector by balancing climate action with food security, plant breeding innovations, improving access to biopesticides, and recognizing farmers’ role in sustainable practices are crucial steps toward a more sustainable and competitive agricultural sector.
