Syngenta Seeds has unveiled a new distribution model for its NK traited soybeans, aiming to respond more swiftly to market demands. Beginning with the 2026 crop season, NK soybeans will be distributed by Pitura Seeds in Western Canada and Jackson Seed Service in the East.
This strategic shift is part of Syngenta’s ongoing commitment to delivering top-performing NK soybean genetics to Canadian growers, the company said.
“The strategic relationships with Pitura Seeds and Jackson Seed Service combine each organization’s local expertise with Syngenta’s market-leading NK soybean genetics, ensuring continued success for growers,” said Dan Wright, Head of Syngenta Seeds.
The transition ensures the NK soybean brand will remain a trusted name in the market, with Pitura Seeds and Jackson Seed Service taking on expanded roles to maintain the high standards of service and quality growers have come to expect, Wright said.
“Pitura Seeds is excited to support NK soybeans and their retail partners in delivering these proven genetics to farmers,” said Tom Greaves, President of Pitura Seeds. “We are proud to continue the legacy of NK soybeans in the West.”
In Eastern Canada, Jackson Seed Service is equally enthusiastic. “We are excited to offer choice for both growers and dealers,” said Jarod Jackson, seed manager of Jackson Seed Service. Jackson Seed Service has been a distributor of Silverline, NK’s conventional soybean lineup, since 2023. “We have long believed in the value of NK genetics and have seen first-hand the benefit they bring growers,” Jackson added.
Ahead of the 2026 growing season, Pitura Seeds and Jackson Seed Service will work closely with current NK soybean retail customers to ensure a seamless transition.
In addition to this new distribution model, Syngenta reaffirmed its commitment to breeding high-performance NK brand soybeans. The company will also continue offering a full lineup of NK and Enogen corn hybrids through the Syngenta Canada seeds team.
