Web Tool Helps with Seed Contracts
A new interactive white paper and PowerPoint presentation, developed by the American Seed Trade Association’s Brokers and Agents Division, can help companies write more comprehensive contracts to better protect themselves. On occasion, seed trade disputes cannot be settled because there is either no formal contract or the existing agreement does not contain the essential elements needed. The white paper and PowerPoint presentation, called “Basic Terms, Conditions and Standards for Seed Sales Contracts,” was designed to help alleviate this situation and outline items that should be included in a seed trade contract.
